Divorced mother and self-confessed Christmas nut, Harper McNevin (Kathryn Davis), and works in the family's New York City retail store, McNevin's, which sells paper goods.
She
has a special Christmas hobby which she calls “Six Degrees of Santa”, where a
gift is given and re-given until the sixth person, who gets to keep the gift.
When
Harper's own gift, a book called “An Elf goes North” lands in the hands of a
leading internet entrepreneur, Jason Sparks (Steve Lund)
he's convinced that the original Santa might be his soul mate, but he doesn’t
know that its Harper even after he tracks her down as the creator of Six
Degrees.
They
appear on the surface to be poles apart in every conceivable way, but first
impressions can be deceiving, especially at Christmas.
