After Robert (Mykelti Williamson) dies he is supervised by Sarial (Mary Fanning Driggs) as he is readied for his ascension.
However,
he has unfinished business on earth and asked to be permitted to return to help
his estranged sisters Dani and Marlow (Tamala Jones
and Nadine Ellis), reconcile.
Permission
is granted but he has to go in the guise of RJ Angel (B.J. Britt) and he cannot
reveal his identity to anyone.
His
plan is to revive their parents' old tradition of “The Holiday Stocking”, which
they used to do when they were children.
However,
doing something as a stranger that he couldn’t accomplish in his lifetime was
more difficult than he imagined.
