Realtor, supermom and master organizer, Maggie Larson (Candace Cameron Bure) makes a last-minute decision to take her family to spend Christmas with her recently bereaved brother Paul McCormick (Paul Fitzgerald) and his daughter Ashley (Keilah Davies), but they have very different expectations for their Christmas holidays.
Even
her own husband Eric (Marc Blucas) and children Becca and Will (Claire Capek
and Caleb Reese Paul) are less than thrilled about being dragged away.
However,
everyone has fun, except Maggie who is troubled by how distant she feels from
everyone important to her, especially her husband.
But
as Christmas approaches, she must learn to live in the present.
