Kandi (Amber Riley) was in a girl group in high school but dropped out when her father died during a performance on Christmas Eve.
Ten
years later and she is a waitress while Tracy Brittany and April (Tanya
Chisholm, Chantal Maurice, and Candice Van Beauty) are a successful group.
But
when the “Glow Girls” arrive at the restaurant a fight breaks out and Kandi is
fired.
She
is prevented from walking in front of a train by The Angel Gabriel (Ric Reitz)
who then follows her to a bar where she gets drunk.
She
has turned her back on God and hates Christmas and her life, so she wishes she
had the life she dreamed of sh he grants her wish.
But
she finds that she is just as unhappy in the life she wanted as she is in her
own, but it takes a while for her to realise that its her that has to change.
