DECK THE HALLS WITH BOUGHS OF HOLLY

Deck the halls with boughs of holly,

Fa la la la la, la la la la.

I’ll spend Christmas time with Molly

Fa la la la la, la la la la.

It should be the season to be jolly

Fa-la-la, la-la-la, la-la-la.

But I’ve just realized my folly

Fa-la-la, la-la-la, la-la-la.

Stab me in the heart with holly

Fa la la la la, la la la la

Dad has run away with Molly

Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Stuff the turkeys arse with holly

Fa-la-la, la-la-la, la-la-la.

There's no reason to be jolly,

Fa-la-la, la-la-la, la-la-la.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – JOURNEY BACK TO CHRISTMAS

There is a real allure about this movie which has an undeniably magnetic feel to it, in which a WWII era nurse is transported forward in time to 2016.

Time travel has long been an intriguing topic for anyone with an imagination and Candace Cameron Bure's portrayal of an intelligent, sensitive, kind Nurse, is excellent.

Her time travelling event was achieved with the help of a miraculous comet to send her to the future, only to find that her seemingly mundane acts of kindness during her lifetime in the 1940s, were not so ordinary, as they led others to heartfelt, inspiring gifts.

While she is displaced in time she meets a man, Jake (Oliver Hudson) who helps her discover the bonds of family and that the true meaning of Christmas is timeless.

IT’S ALL DOWN TO YOU

A WINTER BLUNDERLAND

Doorbells ring, are you listening,

In the street, snow is glistening,

Out in the night,

There’s a hideous sight

Your mother in her winter underwear
