Two college sweethearts Corinne and Rob (Kyla Pratt and Brooks Darnell) break up on Christmas Eve in front of a beautiful Christmas tree because the next steps in their lives are taking them down different paths.

The pledge to meet at the same spot the following year to find out if what they had together was real, but it didn’t happen.

So fast forward five years when Corinne is a wedding planner and Rob is a photographer when they reconnect while coordinating a wedding just in time for the holidays.

Meanwhile in Tinsel, California widowed Mason (Marc Herrmann) and his daughter, Mia (Rylie Coe), are preparing for Christmas alone.

Mia however wants two things for Christmas, a puppy, and to find someone for her Dad.

So, behind her Dad’s back she advertises their guesthouse on a Holiday Home Rental website and Ava books it.

Shortly after arriving, she realizes that the Mason isn’t expecting her so offers to go to a hotel instead, but Mason and Mia convince her to stay and the three of them have a wonderful Christmas.
