Isabel Haynes (Lacey Chabert) works as a Naughty-or-Nice inspector who evaluates children in the run up to Christmas .

She is assigned to evaluate mischievous 11-year-old Charlie Duncan (Cadence Compton) which appears at first look to be a routine case but things become more complicated when she unexpectedly meets her widowed father Jason (Andrew W. Walker) and then they compound the problem by falling in love.

Engaging with a subject or family members is strictly against protocol but falling in love is a definite no no.

So will she follow the rigid rules or her heart?

When Jessie (Amy Groening) hears that the “Chamberlain Family Christmas Olympics” is being cancelled this Christmas Eve, she takes drastic action and lies to her mother and says she's inviting a date to the long-standing holiday tradition.

She finds Bryan (Robert Buckley) on a dating app and he agrees to spend the holiday with her and her crazy family.

As they participate in the range of eccentric activities they start to develop real feelings for each other.

But the family soon catch on to their secret, but Jessie  and Bryan also have secrets that they haven’t shared with each other but may derail their budding romance if they are revealed.

Journalist Beatrice Thompson (Meghan Ory), is no fan of Christmas and as she was raised in the foster system she has no warm cosy memories of the season.

However her lifelong best friend Emilia Rhodes (Lindura) is the complete opposite and they always spend a Christmas staycation together.

But this year is different as Emilia has won an exclusive Christmas getaway to the enchanting town of Christmasland.

Grinchy Beatrice is naturally reluctant to join her best friend but eventually relents and puts friendship first.

Then from the clichéd moment they get a puncture on the outskirts of town and are rescued by charming and handsome Ethan Crane (John Reardon) she is touched by the holiday magic surrounding them.

However while experiencing the festive traditions and the charm of the town she and Emilia begin to question what's real and what's manufactured.

So in the end will Christmasland help Beatrice have the magical Christmas that has always passed her by and will Ethan be by her side.

Until they're forced to team up for the town's Christmas tree lighting, and coffee is not the only thing that brews between them.

She really wants her mum and William to get together and see her chance when she gets them both involved with the Girl Scouts Holiday Ball and all goes well until her father Dakota (James Paladino) turns up unexpectedly.

So will she get her wish r will her mum take the safe option?

She soon realises that she has to choose between her dream job at a prestigious New York Restaurant and the legacy of her family's cherry orchard business.
