Two
very successful rival weather presenters, Tara and Sam (Anjali Khurana and
Landon Moss) apply for a prestigious new job in Washington, and they are both
invited for interview at short notice before Christmas.
Due
to the time of year and the weather, they are unable to book a flight or get a
train ticket so they both decide to drive, but they only get as far the small
town of Mistletoe, and they get trapped in the “town that Christmas forgot”.
While
they are trapped, they must both create a promo weather report as an audition
piece in order to get their dream job.
However,
they get side tracked into trying to bring Christmas back to the town and soon
stopped seeing one another as the competition.
